Stordansk Overseas - Reward Offered!
At Stordansk Harlequin Great Dane Kennels we pride ourselves on honesty and integrity. Approximately five years ago, I sent these two beautiful puppies (both pick of their respective litters) to Maria Bäck of JuanRona's Great Danes in Linköping, Sweden.

The cost of these two puppies including flight and export requirements was $7,500 AUD. The money was never forthcoming, therefore to date I have not received payment for either puppy.
Marie Bäck has been deceitful and is untrustworthy. For many months afterward, Marie blamed the bank (amongst other things) for her lack of payment. I have had a very hard time accepting that I was deceived by a fellow Great Dane breeder. I managed to stop the export pedigree going to Maria for Tuxedo, but unfortunately it was too late to stop the paperwork for Jacinta.
Consequently, Marie has shown and bred from Jacinta. If anyone can help me recover these two beautiful animals, there is a substantial reward. For anyone wishing to purchase puppies or have any dealings with this unscrupulous woman, then be aware!
To date, the Swedish Kennel Club (Svenska Kennelklubben) has done nothing to help me.

Maire - Since Julie decided to write a few words on her website I thought I had to give you all an answer to it for you to see both sides. Many of you have already contacted me about it, but I thought I'll put out a few words any how. Of course I show and have bred Stordansk Awesum Jacinta. She's mine as it was agreed which I also have in e-mails from Julie. The deal on Jacinta was that Julie would have one puppy back out of litter by her own choice bred by me, second pick of the litter.
Julie - First of all, why would I want a bitch back out of her when it was my bloodlines to start with? Especially when they have to go into quarantine here for one month at great expense!
Marie - She hasn't contacted me for a puppy back and I can't directly force her to take a puppy either.
Julie - The truth is, you offered a pup from a black bitch which was a daughter of Architect of Jericho which we found out later on was owned NOT by Maria Bäck but by Megapoon Kennels. On ringing and checking with them, there was never any intention by them to let you breed THEIR bitch. ANYONE, please feel free to ring and check with Megapoon Kennels.
Marie - So there is the choice totally up to her. But I never received any buyer agreement which I asked for several times and had to ask for, especially because she didn't normally use these. So the deal on Jacinta was one puppy back and nothing else.
Julie - If you would like to get your credibility back, you're welcome to pay for Jacinta anytime you want! As you are breeding from her and instead of the puppy you are offering, it would be easier for you to sell the pup there and send the money to me!
Marie - We talked of combinations that could be of interest for both of us.
Julie - The only interest I had was in the Architect of Jericho bitch and if you remember Marie, you came to me because the Harlequins that you breed where either heavily marked or too lightly marked. Why would I want to introduce this problem into my lines? Through lots of hard work and research, including traveling to the USA and importing Aust Champ Stordansk G’Stone Webe Awesum at a cost of $15,000 AUD, I am breeding perfectly marked Harlequins, I definitely didn't need your bloodlines.
Marie - If things turned out as planed, one of them was the use of her male Speck.
Julie - Whilst in the USA I physically inspected both his parents, their hip scores and X-rays and they were both rated Excellent. I did NOT want to risk putting a perfectly healthy, top winning dog under for x-rays, but took the opportunity at 6 years of age when he did require minor surgery, to hip and elbow score him which was graded Excellent, with a zero zero score (the highest you can attain).
Marie - But when she didn't want to x-ray his hips he wasn't an option for me anymore.
Julie - But you were quite happy to buy two pups whose parents had not been x-rayed?
Marie - Neither the female spoken about because she turned out to have hipdysplasi.
Julie - I do not know what you are talking about? In 26 years of breeding I have never had a Great Dane with hip dysplasia.
Marie - At the time we couldn't use Danes that weren't x-rayed here. To get the litter registered the parents needed to be x-rayed, which Julie was aware of from the beginning.
Julie - You have bred Jacinta so one would presume she is hip scored and I'm thinking she is more than likely Excellent also.
Marie - A specific puppy out of a specific litter was not the deal and such deals can never be made because you never give such a promise to anyone.
Julie - Well I'm sure the breeder at Megapoon Kennels was quite surprised when I rang her in enquire when you were going to breed from her bitch, which was what you promised. It’s like all your promises Maria, you can’t keep any of them. Lies seem to come more naturally to you.
